Folkscool

The Blissfest Folkscool is an integral part of the festival experience. Folkscool is organized around small group, hands-on, educational  activities that provide folk arts learning experiences for festival participants. The Folkscool area of the festival is located in BlissWood and divided into 4 instructional workshop areas that focus on crafts, instrument & vocal instruction, drumming instruction and  the SongTree for songwriters. Folkscool activities start on Friday of the festival and throughout the festival weekend. Some craft classes require pre-registration during the festival as class size is limited. We are just in the process of determining classes and workshops and will post the schedule and descriptions in the near future. Artists interested in presenting a FolksCool Session are encouraged to contact the Blissfest office for additional details. 231/348-7047. New Healing Arts Area
