The 37th Annual Blissfest Festival is on its way! The Blissfest Music Organization invites artists to submit designs to be considered for the 37th annual Blissfest Music Festival logo.
Submissions must be original artwork and of a size easily scalable for a variety of uses including T-shirts and posters. All formats are acceptable, however, if you can digital artwork is easier for us to make into a logo. The word “Blissfest” must be prominent in the design as well as the year “2017” and/or “37th Annual”. We are looking for designs that are distinctive and imaginative that project the Blissfest theme. The design can include imagery of instruments, musicians and dancers as well as the essence of an outdoor music camp out. Keep in mind that the Blissfest features folk music as well as innovative acoustic and roots music with a mission of cultural enrichment, heritage and diversity.
The winners will be notified by April 1, 2017. Design submissions will not be returned. If your work is selected, we will contact you to secure the original and finalize details. The winning and 2nd place artwork will become the property of Blissfest Music Organization and will be used on all promotional material for the 2017 Festival to be held July 7-9, 2017.
The winning artist will receive $300 cash, a weekend pass to the festival and a t-shirt. Second Place winner receives $150, festival ticket and a T-Shirt. In addition, the 3rd-5th place winners will each receive one weekend pass to the Festival. There will also be prizes for the 4 runners up and acknowledgment for all honorable mention winners.
There is also a Student Division with the 1st place design used for the Kids Area T-Shirt. The Student Winner will receive a weekend ticket to the festival and a T-Shirt. There will also be prizes for the next 3 places(2nd-4th) and the 4 runners up in the student category plus acknowledgment for honorable mentions.
