Original “Up North” Folk Rock.

“Gettin’ out of town, driving in your car. Pulling off the road, stoppin’ at a bar . Yeah, we’re headin’ out tonight, the mirror compass reads N. And it feels so free to be this direction again.”

These lines from Troll for Trout’s anthem, “Gettin’ Out of Town,” capture the spirit of the band’s colorful 25-year history-a legacy that’s earned the Michigan band a diehard following and spawned an impressive trove of acclaimed recordings.

Their sophisticated arrangements are inviting for the most casual listener but are rewarding for those who are well-versed in the nuances of musical complexity.
